Rumors spreaded out as a Silent Hill reboot was in development and the revival of Silent Hills, however these rumors were quickly proven to be false by Konami.

In this real world town, there is nothing left but a few dilapidated buildings and a road that slowly sinks into the ground. The American town has been awash with fumes and flames for 60 years. In 1962, a fire broke out in an abandoned coal mine and has burned unabated through the galleries ever since.
